Plus they markup parts by 40% to 60% , and a lot of the times they service your machine but don't actually repair it.

SERVICE PACKAGES
Service package includes: Check compression Test ignition Test linkage and adjust Set RPM to spec Adjust carburetor Check drive system and adjust Test cables for proper operation Change oil, air filter and sparkplug Check auger system and belts Flush fuel system $50.00 flat rate
Repair package includes: Service package (as above) Test and repair all faults Inspect internal engine parts for damage Repair as needed and/or required by owner $100.00 flat rate
MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGES Minimum service charge of $30.00 will apply if repair/service is refused Service charge will apply, but not limited to, recoil rope installation, quick adjustment, or improper use by owner, etc.
Please add PST and Parts charges to the above packages and service calls Under some circumstances it may be necessary to pick up and deliver your equipment if parts aren’t on hand or job requires lots of time.
